Getting manual mode right

Also, buy a canvas, just let out stuff, you can get em cheap and keep em forever. Even sell them. I'm having a listen to Robyn, not sure if I like it or not.. Anyone know of the death cab for cutie album? may have a go. I had some fun setting aperture and shuttter speed settings manually, zooming about and throwing backgrounds out of focus etc. today. - Samx

Cooking conservatively

I love to cook, but why don't I? It's the time I spose. Ohhh and check out www.myspace.com/sodoffrufus -have a download before we dispatch or whatever.. It' my band. May go acoustical or whatnot. Scored a goal playing with the cambourne team. I wasn't too good though. Erm, what else... oh yea I like those slim fit black jeans from topman...

Sunny sunny. Generally in good mood..

Just realised a great feeling I've missed is meeting new people, and wellbeing. It's all about acceleration, for me anyway. As my mate Lawson put it. Note to self: sleep longer, eat less for dinner.. Here are some general irrelevant photos, with an emphasis of water, something I can't get as the fountain nearby isn't working..

Listening to: Sigur Ros, John Mayer Trio

Drive thru driving exams

Had an idea - Why not have drive-thru driving exams? That way there's less of a queue. You would have to drive there to do it. Minor flaw in my entrepreneurial strategy I think.

(Hope you like these, I'm playing with new Nikon SLR)
  • Aperture wide open - around f/3.8
  • Using Manual focus, VR off. (- Sam x)

Sun and, O god Im tired.

Why hello there, I think Il launch straight into this, after watching an advert on child abuse, I thought hey why not just teach the kids karate, surley this is a pretty good solution no?

Went and dug some secretive things today in a new found secretive place. all is good.

Too keep people happy I thought I would share the fact that I learnt to pan, panning is alot more difficult than you may think. This motorbike has a blurred background to show SUPPPERRRR speed.

7th May exams, sleep and rabbits

Woke up at 6.15, to classical FM, it put me back to sleep.. No one saw me on the bus with a 36x36" canvas, I was asleep and wearing black. Orange shoes though. - Samx

This one denotes some kind of photographic knowledge, it's a manual focus shot with a large aperture, around f/5.8.

Again, I'm in an exam, for 5 hours, so this rabbit cutely perched in a flowerbed I saw helps chill me out.

My mate simon doing a bit of ice skating. I took this on my phone. They told me to put it away afterwards.

Chillout shots

Well hello there, I am tired and about to partake in a 15 hour art exam, and need to chill out. These shots sort of help.

The idea of travelling, together with starbucks, keeps me going. Let me know your inspirations and things that help you press on through life's tediums. - Sam

snoarding; a casual snowboarding.

This I took in Italy. I've edited out a snowboard on the snow, it stuck out a bit, you wouldn't have know so maybeI shouldn't have said :p Tom and I (Sam) are getting into snoarding, but this was my 2nd cousin, with a method grab. Not sure if a filter was used, probably not. Wasn't my camera.

'Sup all:
- We are two average students (Me (Tom) and Sam) who have made this blog to share our lives, the photos on these pages have no particular subject matter there just whatever we shot...
We both rep the Nikon cameras which are pretty darn good. Holla at us if you know us or have anything to say, no matter how random....
